HOW DOES IT WORK? Birdathon happens every spring at Tahoma Audubon Society and is one of our largest and most important fundraisers of the year. It's like a walk-a-thon but instead of counting miles our Birdathoners will count birds. Each person raising funds may do it a little differently by seeing as many species as possible in a designated 24 hours, in a particular place, or may even go on a special trip to see as many birds as possible. The idea is to share our passion for birds and their habitats while creating a bit of healthy competition to raise money for the work of Tahoma Audubon. You don't have to be an expert birder to support and have fun with Birdathon. You can donate a flat fee, donate per species count, or for any other reason you want to support birds, wildlife and local conservation efforts!
