On March 19th, 2009 we went to Kobayashi Park in University Place

As part of our curriculum this year, we have become stewards of Kobayashi Park and Adriana Hess Wetland Park in University Place. With guidance from Melissa Buckingham of Pierce County Stream Team, we have begun to repair and restore the banks of Leach Creek on the east side of the house. Today we began our restoration work by removing much of the English Ivy under the bamboo.  We had a ton of fun, and as you can see, we got a lot of work done.
