Great Backyard Bird Count

Saturday, February 18, 2017

Join Tahoma Audubon for this FREE Great Backyard Bird Count for kids & families at the Adriana Hess Audubon Center in University Place.

Start with a quick introduction to birding in your backyard, then head outdoors with naturalists to observe and count birds in this urban park. Bring your binoculars or share ours. Children under 12 years of age need an adult with them, and one adult per two children is recommended.

Limited to 20 people (kids & adults) per session. Please include number of kids and adults, and ages of kids when they register, and include phone contact in case of cancellation (heavy rain may cancel event as birds will be hiding!)

Register here for the morning session from 10:00 to 11:30 am

Register here for the afternoon session from 1:00 to 2:30 pm
