Last spring we completed the third season of Project FeederWatch at Adriana Hess Audubon Center, which runs Nov-April annually.

During the second survey season we identified 29 species in total at our feeder and pond.  Fox sparrows, Bushtits, Downy woodpeckers, Sharp shinned hawks, and Golden-crowned kinglets were just a few of our sitings.

Click on the link above to learn how to participate in a wintertime citizen-science project from your window at home, with students in a classroom, or call 253-565-9278 to volunteer at our Audubon Center!

This is an easy and fun winter activity for kids, adults, schools, and homeschooling families alike.
